Cassie, an artist fallen on hard times in San Francisco, wakes on a bench being stalked by a purple-faced demon. Cassie takes refuge in the Convent Art House, warmly accepted by the enigmatic Nyx. But the fairytale soon turns sinister when Nyx's intentions for Cassie aren't what they first seemed.
